Amanda Dennis, BA, CCLS (she/her/hers)

Certified Child Life Specialist
Children's Medical Center Dallas

Amanda graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society. She began her career as an intern at Children's Medical Center Dallas in the Fall of 2021. During her internship, she implemented a project focused on incorporating culture into play through department education and diversifying play materials. Amanda spent her first year as a Certified Child Life Specialist on a general pediatrics floor. She is currently is the child life specialist serving inpatient and outpatient Hematology patients at Children's. Amanda has been a part of the Child Life Department's DEI Committee since her start at Children's in the beginning of 2022.
