Leah Nawrocki has worked in the child life profession for the past 8 years and in that time has utilized child life skills to assist children within medical, school and alternative settings. She has worked as a CCLS in both Texas and Michigan, utilizing her Spanish speaking skills to bridge language and cultural barriers. She currently works as a CCLS within intensive care and general Cardiology, Nephrology, and burn units. She is also an adjunct professor with the Aquinas College child life program.
