Sarah Davis, MS, CCLS is a child life specialist working in private practice in San Antonio through the organization Thriving Play. Sarah has been a certified child life specialist for 9 years and holds a master’s degree in child and family studies and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Thriving Play's main focus has been on providing support to families experiencing the difficulties of an invisible illness diagnosis, while also providing general family support for stressful life experiences. Prior to starting her private practice, Sarah assisted in the establishment of a child life presence in the Radiology Department and was a member of the hospital’s sedation team. A large portion of Sarah’s work is devoted to procedures involving nitrous oxide and stream-lining the patient’s experience. Sarah is also a member of the Society for Pediatric Sedation and has presented at their Sedation Provider Course. In addition to clinical work, Sarah served as the coordinator for child life practicum program at The Children's Hospital of San Antonio.
