Alyssa Geis MPH CCLS is a Certified Child Life Specialist with the Dell Children's Comprehensive Care Clinic in Austin, Texas. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia in Child and Family Development with an Emphasis in Child Life and a Master's degree from University of South Carolina in Public Health: Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior. Since 2012, Alyssa has worked with infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with primary focuses in day surgery, dialysis, kidney transplant, neonatal intensive care, cardiovascular surgery service line, heart transplant, and complex medical care. Alyssa specializes in procedural preparation and support, developmentally appropriate medical education, and sibling coping skills.
