Erica Tooker is a Certified Child Life Specialist who has worked in the hematology/oncology at Helen Devos for three years. Erica moved back to her home state of Michigan after completing a M.S. in Family and Child Studies with a concentration in Research in Human and Family Development from Texas State University. While completing her degrees, she traveled abroad to work with children in Kenya, Peru, and Ecuador, inspiring her passion for working with kids from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Erica continues this work at Helen Devos Children's Hospital where she serves on the DEI Champions Committee.
