Kim has over 30 years of experience as a child life specialist including 20 years working at Wonders & Worries supporting children and teens impacted by parental illness. Kim was in the role of clinical program director at Wonders & Worries for 10 years overseeing clinical services to families and providing supervision to child life specialists. Last year Kim transitioned into a national program director role with a focus on expanding Wonders & Worries support. Kim has been involved in a variety of research and evaluation projects and processes at Wonders & Worries working closely with a multidisciplinary team. Kim has a bachelor’s degree in Family Relations and Child Development from Oklahoma State University, a master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Alabama, and a master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Counseling and Play Therapy from the University of North Texas.
