Christy is a professional musician with close to 20 years of experience teaching children of various backgrounds and abilities in a classroom setting. She received a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of North Carolina, holds an EC-12 Teaching Certification from the State of Texas, and has special training in the Orff method of music delivery. Christy currently works as a Bilingual Music Specialist for JoyRx, a nonprofit organization that delivers no-cost, child-directed music programming to hospitalized children and teens in Austin, Texas.
